Se profundizará en el manejo de los números reales, ampliando algunos de los conocimientos que ya tiene el alumnado. Los alumnos y las alumnas investigaran la biografía de la matemática francesa Sophie Germain, y la relacionaran con importante resultado en teoría de números. Estudiar la historia de las matemáticas es parte fundamental para una buena cultura científica.
