Al ingresar dinero en un banco durante un período fijo, éste está obligado a pagarte un interés. Este tipo de operaciones son frecuentes, pero pocas personas son conscientes de que el crecimiento es espectacular cuando el tiempo es grande. En este objeto se trata el interés compuesto y una regla que relaciona el tipo de interés y el tiempo que tarda en duplicarse una cantidad.
