Experiencia de Joule
Concepto de la experiencia de Joule. En el ODE se muestra cómo se puede transformar la energía mecánica en calor. En concreto una masa (modificable) situada a una determinada altura está atada a un mecanismo que gira en un recipiente que contiene una masa (modificable) de agua. Al caer la masa aumenta la temperatura del agua por la fricción del mecanismo.

Gravedad aparente
Concepto de la gravedad aparente. El ODE muestra una animación donde se puede comprobar que la intensidad del campo gravitatorio, g, no es idéntica en todos los puntos de la Tierra. En la escena se puede modificar el periodo de rotación de la Tierra y la latitud para comprobar cómo varía g.
