This is a collaborative classroom activity designed for English B1.2 students at an EOI (Escuela Oficial de Idiomas). In groups of 3 or 4, students research a cultural celebration from a country other than their own. Each group selects a unique celebration, gathers relevant information (traditions, food, location, timing, cultural significance), and creates a digital infographic using tools like Canva, Piktochart or Google Slides. Students must: Organize and synthesize information clearly. Use accessible design (good color contrast, clear fonts, simple language). Present their infographics to the class. Conclude by individually reflecting on what they learned via a Padlet entry. The activity integrates research, digital skills, creativity, oral communication, and intercultural awareness, all while promoting collaboration and inclusion.
