This course explores the key resources—human, educational, and economic—that sustain and enhance welfare systems. Through a multidisciplinary lens, students will analyze how social policies, community networks, and institutional frameworks contribute to the well-being of individuals and vulnerable populations. The course emphasizes practical strategies for promoting equity, inclusion, and sustainable development within welfare structures. Objectives: Identify and evaluate the main components of welfare systems and their interdependence. Understand the role of social educators, institutions, and community actors in supporting welfare. Analyze national and international policies that impact welfare provision. Develop strategies to strengthen socio-educational support for individuals with disabilities, dependency, or social exclusion. Promote ethical and inclusive practices in the design and implementation of welfare programs.
