Los alumnos inicialmente adquieren conocimientos acerca del significado y sentido de la danza, el baile y las coreografías. Se familiarizan con conceptos de índole musical: ritmos, tiempos musicales, tempo...Adquieren capacidad rítmica a través de la práctica de actividades coreográficas básicas con base musical supervisadas por el docente. Forman grupos de actividad para diseñar y crear coreografías de forma autónoma que posteriormente exhibirán públicamente en clase de educación física.
