El Teatro Real, inaugurado en 1826, albergó el Conservatorio Nacional de Música. Ha sido reconstruido sobre sus antiguo cimientos. Posee una fascinante colección de máscaras e instrumentos musicales del teatro vietnamita. Se localiza frente al pabellón Nhat Thanh de la ciudadela imperial.
