TRADUCCIÓN DEL CUENTO:

THE COLOUR MONSTER:

This is my friend the color monster. Today he´s all mixed up and very confused. He doesn´t know why.

Look at you, you´re all over the place.

That`s because all your feelings are still stirred together, so your colours are too.

I know. Let´s put each feeling in a different jar so we can look at it more closely. I can help you if you like.

This is happiness. It shines yellow like the sun and twinkles like the stars. You feel bright and light. You laugh you jump, you dance. You want to share that feeling with everyone.

This is sadness. It`s gentle like a blue rainy day. Sadness can make you cry.it can make you feel alone. But if you´re sad, I`ll hold your hand.

This is anger.it blazes red like fire. .Anger can make you want to stomp and Rooooaaaarrr! And shout. ”It´s not fair!”

This is fear. It is black like the night and hides in shadows like a scaredy cat. Being afraid can you fell very small and alone. If you`re scared, tell me why and we`ll walk through the forest together.

This is calm. It`s quiet like the trees and soft like their leaves. Now you`re in calm, you breathe slowly and deeply. Ahhhhh! You fell at peace.

There, we`ve finished! Here are your feelings. Let`s look at them together.

But what`s this? You look different, Colour Monster!

Er……. How do you feel now? .

THE END.

ADAPTACIÓN PARA E.I. 20.000 LEGUA DE VIAJE SUBMARINO

(20.0000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA):

Once upon a time in a very distant port where sailors and fishermen were very worried because all the ships were destroyed by a great sea creature.
This creature was huge and very fast and they did not know very well if it was a whale, a giant octopus or a squid, so they decided to send an expedition on a ship to hunt it.
The ship was called “Abraham Lincoln” aboard Admiral Farragut, harpooner Ned Land, naturalist Pierre Aronax Y Conseil who was his servant.
They sailed for six months and the crew began to be tired, until suddenly one day they saw the animal.
They fought against him but the monster was very fast and impossible to reach. That is why they waited at night while he was sleeping and just when they were going to attack him they discovered that: it was not an animal! It was a machine!
That machine was a large submarine called Nautilus and its captain was Captain Nemo.
Captain Nemo invited the entire crew to his submarine to Farragaut, Pierre Aronax and also his servant.
Inside the submarine was a library, a museum with marine treasures, the engine room, the cabins, the kitchen and the lounge.
After a while on the submarine, Captain Nemo decided that he wanted to go around the world and captured the crew and although he treated them well, forced them to travel with him.
They traveled on the submarine and discovered wonderful places, Ceylon, the Red Sea, the Strait of Gibraltar, a volcano in the submerged city of Atlantis, the South Pole.
But our friends of the crew after living numerous adventures and battles realized that Captain Nemo was increasingly angry and wanted to participate in more battles and decided to escape. So they left the submarine where so many adventures had lived and never heard from him again.

 THE END.
